Fast and Slow Shutter Speed
In image #5, the shutter speed was 1/125, the ISO was 800 and the WB was auto. The action of the wheel being spun is what was frozen. It was taken up close and with a straight on point of view. The clear center of the wheel with the slight blur around the edges is shown in this picture.
In image #2, the shutter speed was 1/8, the ISO was 800 and the WB was auto. The motion of water being poured into a tank filled with water, is what was blurred. It was taken up close and with a straight on point of view. The soft, cloudy texture that the water is believed to have, is shown in this picture.

Painting with light
In image #3, we see a big blur of several circles in all different sizes. The shutter speed was 15 seconds. A string of colorful lights were spun in at a fast speed to achieve this photo. This photo should give the viewer a sense of joy. The colors and pattern attract the eye very nicely.
Color Correcting
Aperture
In image #2, we see a shallow depth of field where the f-stop was 13, the ISO was 1000, and the WB was auto. Although with this large of an f-stop it should have been all in focus, my positioning changed the focus. In image #3, we see a large depth of field where the f-stop was 2.8, the ISO was 1000, and the WB was auto. Again, my positioning changed the focus of the picture. I think the shallow depth of field, image #2, is better because it draws the eyes to one specific point of the picture instead of someone looking all over the picture like in image #3. You would use a shallow depth of field to draw the attention to s certain point of the picture, even used to get the point of the picture across. A large depth of field would be better if taking a picture of a large scene where all details should be seen and recognized.
