In image #1, the lighting is coming from the right side on an upward angle. The light is hitting the left side of his face and is casting a shadow on the right side. This is a head shot and the model is tilting his head to the right side. This photo was taken horizontally with a straight on point of view and was close to the model. The lighting and position of the model shows that he is mysterious. He is not showing much emotion and half of his face is shadowed, leaving the viewer curious. In comparison to image #2, this one is very dark and plain. Image #2 has props and color with brighter lights which gives more of an excited feeling, different to that of image #1.
